Aloo Gobi

(serves 4)


You will need:

1 Sachet of side dish spices from any Secret Chef 3in1 Curry Meal Kit.

1 Onion finely chopped

2 Cloves of Garlic crushed

350g Cauliflower broken into 3 to 5cm florets

2 Medium Potatoes peeled and diced into 3cm cubes

5tbs Vegetable Oil

Salt to taste


Place the Diced Potato in a pan of boiling salted water and cook for 8 minutes.

Add the Cauliflower Florets to the Potatoes and cook for a further 4 minutes.

Drain the Potatoes and Cauliflower and just cover with cold water to stop the cooking process,  set  aside.

Heat the Oil in a saucepan and stir fry the Onions for 2 minutes.                           

Add the Garlic and stir fry for 30 seconds.                                  

Add the Side Dish Spices and stir fry for 30 seconds.                                 

Add the drained cooked Potatoes and Cauliflower and toss to cover with the onions and spices.

Fry for a further 3 minutes, try not to break the potatoes and cauliflower.

Turn off the heat and adjust the seasoning.

Serve and enjoy.
