Homemade Turkey Burgers


Makes about 6 burgers 

Preparation time 15 minutes

Cooking time around 10 minutes

(depending what you are cooking on & how thick. Ensure they are properly cooked before serving)


You will need:

2 tsp Secret Chef Chicken Rub

500g minced Turkey

1 medium onion diced (as small as possible)

1 egg beaten

25g of bread crumbs or 1 broken up weetabix (who’s got bread crumbs in the cupboard anymore?)


Combine all ingredients together, (don’t over work the mix, as the end result will be tough)

Shape into burger patties and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Remove from fridge 20 minutes prior to cooking on the BBQ, under the grill, in a frying pan or in the oven.


Alternatively form into meat balls, fry in a hot pan and add to your favourite tomato sauce
