Thai Noodle Soup

(Serves 4)

Preparation time 20 minutes

Cooking time 6/7 minutes


You will need:

2 tbs Secret Chef Thai Seasoning

200g Quick Cook Dried Noodles

2 medium Carrots peeled and cut into matchsticks

1 medium Onion peeled and sliced

ΒΌ green Cabbage sliced into thin strips

1 Red Pepper sliced

chopped Chillies (optional)

1l of boiling Vegetable Stock

2 tbsp Oil for frying

Coriander Leaves to garnish (optional)

Roughly chopped Red Chilli to garnish (optional)

300g raw, peeled and cleaned Prawns (optional)


300g Chicken Breast sliced into thin strips (optional)


Heat the oil in a large pan and fry the onions for 1 minute.

Add the sliced peppers and chillies (optional), fry for a further 1 minute and

add a generous amount of Secret Chef Thai Seasoning.

Cover with 1l of boiling vegetable stock and add the carrots, cabbage and

sweetcorn. Bring to the boil.

Add the quick cook noodles, Cook for the time stated on the packet.

Sprinkle more Secret Chef Thai Seasoning over before serving with optional chillies/coriander leaves.

If you are making a prawn or chicken noodle soup add the prawns or chicken at

the same time as the carrots. Ensure chicken or prawns are

cooked throughout before serving.
